Halloween is Best in Tucson
Check out Fall Festival at Catalina United Methodist Church for free. The event features food, games, bounce house and much more on the South Lawn across from Himmel Park, from 5 – 7 pm.
Another free event happening on October 5th from 5:30 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. is Monster Mash 5k at Steam Pump Ranch. This fun event features food trucks, face painting, pumpkin decorations and, of course, haunted hayride. During the event, the attendees will be given materials to decorate the pumpkin. You will still need to buy a pumpkin for the pumpkin patch.
The contest of decorating pumpkins will be broken up into age groups. Those are 5 and under, 6-8, 9-12, 13-14.
If you are more than 14, then you are invited to take part in the pumpkin carving contest. Most probably you carved pumpkin will win a prize. Of course, if you do a great job.
