The holiday season has brought a lot of joy to the Tucson area. Thanks to a very generous anonymous donor who donated $15,000 to the Pima County Deputy’s Office this year and $10,000 last year. This donation was made towards the Secret Santa program.

The purpose of this donation was to help improve the relationship between the police and public. Which is why, Deputies were passing out cash in the increments of $100 to the people of Tucson that were in need.

Pima County Sheriff’s Motorcyclist Deputies acted as Secret Santas. The deputies went around stopping people coming out of Good Will and people near bus stops. They spoke with them for a couple minutes just to determine if they would benefit from the donation.

Later this week, the deputies will give presents to children at Banner UMC, The Ronald McDonald House, and Fisher Home.

The handing out of cash donations will continue throughout the holiday season.
